NordicFuzzCon is on the lookout for friendly and outgoing people to join the ConStore team as STEWs! If you love chatting with others and being part of a fun, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you. You'll be helping visitors with advice about our merchandise, selling items in the ConStore, and giving a hand with the item handout during the early arrival event. We’re looking for someone who feels comfortable engaging in conversations with strangers, has a strong service-oriented mindset, and enjoys working as part of a team. If you’re excited about contributing to a fun and collaborative atmosphere at one of Europe’s largest furry conventions, we’d love to hear from you!

We are growing and we are looking for friendly, helpful volunteers to join our diverse team (we also get free cookies :) )
Your mission should you choose to accept it; is to provide a professional service and a safe, friendly atmosphere for our attendees to have fun.

For this you will need:

• A good working level of English is required - of course - fluency in other languages is a welcome bonus.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours over the convention period (as a mix of before-con and at-con time).
• To be flexible and able to take on some of our many tasks including: Crowd Control, Queue Management, Door Checks.
• To have a calm and professional demeanour - remember that we are furries too; we take our job seriously but not ourselves.

What we offer:

• Training prior to the convention and support on site. You will not be expected to act alone.
• Guaranteed off-hours at the convention.
• Flexibility to do security work outside your regular shifts as you desire.

We are a multi-venue event, so there’s no requirement to be booked into a specific hotel.

Had your eyes on being STEW, but not sure what to get locked up in? Maybe you would be interested in the Coat- and Locker-Service then? Here people will leave you with their small things they may need a break from carrying around. We are open throughout the con (in the Clarion & Valhalla) and your job is just making sure floofs can leave their stuff at a safe place and pick it up again. There will of course be candy, good company and chances to hug some fluffers. So if you may wanna help us out and become part of the luggage and locker crew we would welcome you with open arms. Are you organized? Good with logistics? A team player? Perhaps our vacancy is perfect for you. Here in the Sponsor department, we’re looking for new recruits to help us provide and facilitate the great perks and items we offer to our Sponsors. The role will entail aiding the team in sourcing products, organizing said products, and getting the products to our Sponsors during the con. You’ll also need to be available during the con to assist with Sponsor related queues and to aid Registration.
